Does Shopify Still Offer a 90-day Trial?

From 29th January 2024, Shopify reduced the number of days of their $1 trial offer from 90 days to 30 days. But from 1st November 2024, they again started offering 3 months trial for $1/month that new users can claim right now.

Note: If you don’t want to continue with the plan, I suggest you cancel the subscription before your free trial ends. Otherwise, after the free trial, it will auto-deduct the payment according to your chosen plan.

What Will Happen After The Shopify Free Trial Ends?

Once the 3-day free trial ends, your store will freeze, and you will need to buy a subscription to continue operating it. The only downside to the free trial is that you can’t take your store online; you need a subscription for that. Once your free trial ends, you can sign up for the 90-day offer for just $1/month.

After this offer ends, you can choose among the three plans, which cost $39/month, $105/month, and $399/month, respectively. To learn more about these offers, contact Shopify’s support.

Shopify 90 Days Trial For $1 (Explained)

Shopify recently introduced a special offer that allows you to use all the features of any plan for 90 days for $1/month. They introduced this offer after reducing the number of days in their free trial. Now you can try Shopify free trial for only three days.

In the basic plan, you can create an online store, create two additional staff accounts, get four different inventory locations, create manual orders, get an abandoned cart recovery feature, get a shipping discount, get Shopify shipping labels on your deliveries, and use the Shopify POS lite feature.

How To Get Most Out Of Shopify 90-Day Free Trial?

Here’s what you should do to get the most out of Shopify’s 90-day trial offer:

  • Create & Set Up Your Online Store: Choose the best theme that reflects your brand and customize your layouts properly. Make sure your online store matches your brand’s aesthetics.
  • Find & Add Products: If you already have products then start adding those to your online store. Upload the images of them, write proper descriptions, and set up a price for them. If there is more than one product category in your store, then organize your products according to them.
  • Choose & Configure Different Payment Methods: Shopify only offers 4-5 payment methods without transaction fees. However, you can also add third-party payment methods to your store but you will have to pay a fee on every transaction.
  • Set Up Shipping: Choose the best shipping strategy and method to ensure faster shipping and delivery of your products.
  • Order Samples: Behave like a customer and order a sample from your site to test out the checkout page, payment methods, shipping & delivery. If everything goes well, then take your online store to live and start selling.

User Testimonials After Using Shopify Free Trial

We have asked our email subscribers to share their experience using the Shopify free trial.

“I was looking for an eCommerce platform to start my eCommerce business, then I came across GrowthDevil’s Shopify Free Trial article and signed up for the trial. Within three days of trial, I had completely set up my store and bought the 90-day offer at just $1 to take my store online, and now I am making four figures in revenue every month from my store.”

James Palmore (Small Business Owner)

“I tried Shopify’s 14-day free trial way back but didn’t have the budget to buy a subscription back then. After some time, I came across GrowthDevil’s post on Shopify free trial, and then, I came to know about its 90-day offer and jumped at the opportunity right away. Within 90 days, I took my store from making $0/month to over $1000/month.”
